There are only three matches left in the 2024/25 campaign, and Everton close out the year with two away matches sandwiching the final men's first-team match at Goodison Park.

Most of the major pieces of the Premier League season are decided, with Liverpool having already wrapped up the title and Ipswich, Leicester City, and Southampton having had their relegation confirmed, meaning most of the other matches will be about jockeying for table positions (for most) and securing European spots (for few).

The former is the case for both Everton and Fulham for the Toffees trek to the capital on Saturday, although both clubs will want to put on a good performance to maintain a positive buzz heading into the summer.

Whether the weekend will prove to be more of the same for David Moyes' starting XI remains to be seen, but here's a prediction for how the Toffees will begin the match on Saturday at Craven Cottage.

Predicted Everton lineup vs Fulham (4-2-3-1)

Goalkeeper & Defenders

Jordan Pickford (GK): There's no need to shake anything up here for now. Could Joao Virginia, who is out of contract at season's end, get a run here for the final match? Possibly, but for now, it's Pick between the sticks.

Vitalii Mykolenko (LB): Again, no reason to make changes here, nor is there really anyone that Moyes would want to see more of as cover for left back anyway.

Jarrad Branthwaite (CB): The English defender is one of Everton's candidates for player of the season and should continue to build his case in the season's final matches.

Jake O'Brien (CB): It hasn't always been the smoothest transition back to his natural position, but the Ireland international has mostly done well enough to keep his place here.

Nathan Patterson (RB): His defending is still terrifying at times and the refining that needed doing a few years ago still hasn't happened, but seeing as Everton's league position is mostly set, there's no reason to pull the Scottish international out of the lineup. I do expect a change here next week, however.

Midfielders

Idrissa Gana Gueye (CDM): There is still uncertainty about whether Gana will return for next season, but as long as he's on Merseyside, he remains Everton's most complete midfielder.

James Garner (CM): I've been keeping him out of the XI for a few weeks now, but it's pretty clear that Moyes either prefers him in a two next to Gana or simply wants to see more of what the England international has to offer.

Iliman Ndiaye (CAM): One of the lessons from the draw against Ipswich last weekend is that Moyes has found his best attacking quartet, which includes talisman Ndiaye centrally running the show.

Forwards

Charly Alcaraz (LW): The sides are quite fluid here, but two things are certain: Alcaraz needs to keep starting matches and Everton need to make certain he's here next season.

Dwight McNeil (RW): He isn't the paciest player, but he proved himself adept as a right-sided player last week, allowing him to cut inside and use his wand of a left foot to his advantage.

Beto (CF): There is a chance that Moyes wants to give Dominic Calvert-Lewin a run, but if he does so, it'll likely be as a substitute, as the striker likely isn't fit enough to go very long. So Beto gets the start, but maybe only for 55-60 minutes.
