The 2025-26 Premier League is six matchweeks old, and Everton are sitting in the middle part of the table despite some inconsistent results.
Some fans are furious over the lack of output from Beto and Thierno Barry, but in reality, they both don’t have the ability to change the game due to their lack of involvement in the final third. They rarely see the ball, which is partly the fault of their teammates.
Striker shortcomings aside, Everton actually have two players that are among the best in the league when it comes to creating chances.
Jack Grealish leads the Premier League in chances created with 17 to his name, while Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is tied for the third spot with 13. It doesn’t matter if you were for or against the signing of these two players. Their impact has been undeniable.

It’s crazy to think that two Evertonians have combined to create 30 chances, but fans shouldn’t be surprised. KDH and Grealish have been the backbone of Everton’s offensive output, often combining and pushing the ball forward as well as increasing ball circulation.
Unfortunately, KDH won’t be available for selection against Crystal Palace as he has been suspended due to yellow card accumulation. The validity of two of those yellow cards have been in question as of late, but nevertheless, Everton will most likely need to replace him with one of Charly Alcaraz, Dwight McNeil, or Tyler Dibling in the starting lineup.
As long as the Toffees have Jack Grealish, though, the chances will keep on coming. Hopefully, those chances start coming to our strikers sooner rather than later.
