We all love a bit of Fantasy Football. It adds that extra layer of excitement to the weekend fixtures, especially when Everton aren't involved, and offers the chance to claim bragging rights over friends and family.
Whether it's picking players facing weaker opposition, predicting clean sheets, or timing transfers around double gameweeks, Fantasy Premier League brings its own drama alongside the real-life action. Now a big business with Fantasy shows now popular on YouTube and on sports TV, every point matters.
That said, there’s no celebrating a Mohamed Salah hat-trick or a Trent Alexander-Arnold free-kick winner here, the Merseyside rivalry doesn’t extend to fantasy glory. Any points from the red half of Liverpool are usually enjoyed in silence, if reluctantly earned at all.
With three rounds of fixtures remaining, we take a look at the top five Everton players who’ve delivered strong Fantasy returns this season—and who might still influence your final gameweek picks.
So, which players have racked up the most Fantasy Premier League points this season? We give you the Top 5 in the next slide.
Before we dive into the top five Fantasy Premier League point-scorers, it’s only fair to acknowledge a few honourable mentions who came close to making the cut.
Abdoulaye Doucouré, Dwight McNeil, and Jarrad Branthwaite all narrowly missed out, with Doucouré coming closest with a respectable 85 points. Had they enjoyed more consistent runs in the team and avoided injuries, it’s likely they would’ve secured a place in the rankings but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case this season.
I know the excitement is palpable so I’ll get right to it. In at number five..........
5. Vitalii Mykolenko - 96 points
The Ukrainian defender has been a consistent presence at left-back this season, making 32 appearances. While his attacking output has been limited, his Fantasy points tally has been boosted by clean sheet bonuses.
In FPL terms, Mykolenko has proven to be a solid budget option for managers seeking defensive reliability. Though not known for goals or assists, his regular starts and Everton’s improved defensive record have made him a steady source of points, especially during favourable fixture runs. His low ownership has also given savvy managers a slight differential advantage.
A fan favourite thanks to his tenacity and work rate, Mykolenko will be hoping for more attacking freedom under David Moyes in his first full season back in charge, potentially pushing forward to contribute more assists to the strike force. He’s my under-the-radar pick to watch for next season.
4. Iliman Ndiaye - 98 points
The Senegalese forward has found the net seven times in his debut season on Merseyside, but questions remain about Iliman Ndiaye’s ability to consistently lead the line due to fluctuations in form.
At the start of the season, many FPL managers backed him as a budget-friendly differential, hopeful he’d emerge as Everton’s top scorer and deliver steady returns. That early optimism faded, but a strong run of performances in early 2025 has since propelled him into the club’s top five FPL point scorers.
His return from injury against Ipswich Town at the weekend led to many transferring the former Sheffield United attacker back into their squads and keeping faith with his scoring potential. He only managed two points but last three fixture look promising for him to climb this Top 5 scoring chart.
Looking ahead, a more attack-minded approach under David Moyes could make him a valuable option next season. However, with transfer rumors swirling and Everton reportedly targeting new strikers, his minutes, and Fantasy appeal, may not be as secure moving forward.
3. David Moyes - 99 Points
This one comes as something of a surprise, considering the Assistant Manager chip was introduced in February, allowing users to select a manager for bonus points across three chosen fixtures.
Since returning to Goodison Park, David Moyes has overseen a strong upturn in Everton’s form, with crucial wins over Crystal Palace, Brighton, Nottingham Forest, and Tottenham playing a significant role in his points tally.
While managers are scored differently to players, Moyes currently ranks fifth overall among all managers, finishing ahead of high-profile names like Pep Guardiola, Eddie Howe, and Mikel Arteta. Proof, perhaps, that Everton now boast one of the top managers in the Premier League?
2. James Tarkowski - 105 points
James Tarkowski has made the most of his ever-present role in the Everton backline, with the majority of his 105 FPL points this season coming from consistent starts and the club’s impressive clean sheet record. As his campaign has finished, he ends on a solid total that reflects his reliability at the heart of defence.
For those Fantasy managers who stuck with Everton’s defensive stalwart, few moments were more satisfying than his dramatic stoppage-time equaliser against rivals Liverpool, earning an unexpected six-point bonus and delivering a moment of celebration both on and off the pitch.
While this isn’t his highest-scoring season, he peaked with 143 points in 2019/20, Tarkowski continues to be a dependable budget option, regularly posting over 100 points across seasons. His durability and aerial threat make him a consistent, value-for-money pick in FPL.
1. Jordan Pickford - 137 Points
It’s no surprise to see our goalkeeper topping the Fantasy points chart. As the most selected Everton player in FPL, he’s recorded ten clean sheets this season, with two penalty saves also boosting his impressive total. This fantasy article published in Janaury shows the importance his quality within the Everton defence
With just a few games remaining, he has a real chance to surpass his previous season’s total of 153 points, and could even eclipse his career-high of 161 points. Much of this success is owed to the disciplined, defensively solid football implemented under Sean Dyche.
Seven of his ten clean sheets came during Dyche’s tenure, with the remaining three added under David Moyes in wins over Nottingham Forest, Brighton, and Leicester City. As for the penalty saves, each was met with huge celebrations from both fans and FPL managers alike.
So that wraps up the Top 5 and hopefully gives you a inclination on what Everton fans should be planning for their fantasy teams next season, in what fans are hoping is a start of a new era for the club.
