Sandro Ramirez may be on his way out of Goodison Park, with Valencia reportedly interested in signing the Everton forward.

When Everton signed Sandro Ramirez for £5.2 million, he arrived with a certain level of expectations. He was coming off a season where he had scored a career-high 16 goals in La Liga.

At the age of just 22, Sandro was predicted to have a long and productive career, with Everton set to benefit. Unfortunately, it hasn’t quite worked out as hoped.

Whether it was failing to fit in under Ronald Koeman or dealing with injury, Sandro has struggled significantly. With just one goal in 15 total appearances, his strike rate has left a lot to be desired.

With Everton aiming to sign another striker when the transfer window reopens in January, the former Barcelona forward will likely fall further down the pecking order. As such, the latest speculation is likely to be of some interest to him.

More from Prince Rupert's Tower

As per a report from the Daily Star‘s Callum Vurley, Valencia are interested in signing Sandro. According to Vurley, the La Liga club have already been in talks with Everton.

You can understand why a move back home might be appealing to the Spaniard, who is only six months into a four-year contract. However, the two sides have yet to come to an agreement.

As per Vurley, Sam Allardyce is apparently not keen to let Sandro leave permanently at this stage. Instead, it is believed a loan deal is more likely, until the end of this season.

This actually makes sense, given how many players have responded positively since Allardyce arrived. While he cannot offer the forward much playing time at this stage, the Blues boss will likely want to reevaluate what he can do for Everton during the Summer.
