Ryan Fraser favours a move to Everton but has some particular demands that must be met.

AFC Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser is in the last few months of his Cherries career and so far has rejected every advance from Bournemouth for an extension. The 26 year old rejected the newest offer from Cherries as well, a short term extension till the end of the season. This means Ryan Fraser will leave the Vitality Stadium on 30 June 2020.

A host of clubs like Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Arsenal have been monitoring Ryan Fraser. However, Everton are said to be the closest to land the Scotsman. According to the Daily Mail, Fraser has told his Bournemouth teammates that he sees Everton as the best possible team where he can excel and get regular playing time. This is set to mark an end to Fraser’s seven year spell at Vitality stadium.

This should be good news for the Toffees as they continue their energetic charge in the transfer market. The Toffees board deserves some praise in strategically targeting players who are free agents. In an ideal scenario, these players could have cost Toffees a fortune but signing these players on a free transfer is nothing but smart business.

The Scotland International hinting on an Everton transfer but he has some demands that the club needs to fulfil in order to add him to the ranks. Ryan Fraser earns £27,000 a week at AFC Bournemouth and wants a significant rise in his weekly wages at Everton. According to the Times, Ryan Fraser has asked for wages in excess of £100,000. Now a total of 7 players at Goodison Park earn £100,000 and above. Only Yerry Mina, Bernard and Andre Gomes earn in excess of £100,000. So should the club be willing to pay a six figure mark to Fraser?

Definitely. The talented winger is one of the quickest players in the Premier League scene and has proven from time to time how effective he can be. The 26 year old sparkled last season registering 7 goals and 14 assists in 38 Premier League games. Another aspect that separates Fraser from other targets is minimal Injuries. The Scotsman has enjoyed a relatively injury free career, with his last major injury coming in 2015-16 season. This should be a huge deciding factor as Merseyside club has suffered a lot due to injuries and would love to have a player who isn’t injury prone. It shouldn’t be much of a financial trouble for the Toffees to pay over £100,000 to Fraser in wages because they are getting the player for free and millions have already been saved.
