Emiliano Buendia and Abdoulaye Doucoure are other players Everton may consider.

4. Emiliano Buendia

Emiliano Buendia is another Norwich City player who may be on the hunt for a new team after the Canaries were relegated at the end of the season. The right winger joined Norwich back in 2018 for a mere fee of £1.4 million and with what he has supplied to Daniel Farke’s side, it is safe to say that this was some of the best transfer business ever done by Norwich.

More from Prince Rupert's Tower

The right winger has a creative eye and uses his pace and imagination to create chances out of nowhere. He registered 7 assists and scored 1 goal himself for the Canaries, becoming a key cog in the attack. Everton have been in search of a right winger after Theo Walcott has miserably underperformed. With Buendia available for a fee of around £15 million, Marcel Brands should seriously consider him.

5. Abdoulaye Doucoure

Abdoulaye Doucoure has been mentioned as a target for Everton in the past but no in roads have been made to strike a deal. The 27 year old is arguably the best Watford player in the last few years and surprisingly his standard and quality hasn’t dropped despite Watford’s woes in the league.

Doucoure is a classic box-to-box midfielder who is known to make characteristic runs in the box. He is in the prime of his career and by no means would like to spend his best years in the Championship when he knows he is Premier League worthy. A fee of around £20 million should be enough to convince the Hornets into selling the Frenchman as Watford try to trim their wage bill by selling the highest earning player at the club.

Doucoure isn’t injury prone unlike the current crop of players in Everton midfield and Ancelotti would love to have a player like him who can be deployed for consecutive games week in week out without having the risk of him picking up any niggles.
