Mason Holgate was reportedly wanted by Manchester City.

Mason Holgate: Keep

There’s no way Carlo Ancelotti and Marcel Brands will agree to selling one of the best defenders in the squad. Mason Holgate has been instrumental this season in shoring up the defence and even though the Toffees defence has taken a beating at times, Holgate has always garnered individual praises.

Matthew Pennington: Loan or Sell

The 25 year old centre back has never cut into the Everton starting eleven and it looks highly unlikely that he’ll do it in the future. Pennington spent the last season on loan at Hull City and achieved decent individual results. There will takers for Pennington on loan after every club was hit with financial losses so the Toffees may again send him out on loan and try and insert a obligatory or optional purchase clause for next season.

Michael Keane: Keep

It is a pretty interesting situation with Michael Keane. His biggest problem is his inconsistency. Post the restart, he has been exceptional but when judging from the overall season, he has just managed to beat the average bar. But Ancelotti won’t mind keeping the 27 year old even if new centre backs arrive at Finch Farm. At the end of the day, he can be trusted to do a satisfactory job.

Hot. Everton can offer Chelsea player way out if Declan Rice arrives. light

Jarrad Branthwaite: Keep

He stepped up when the team was without Yerry Mina and Mason Holgate during the culminating stages of the league and even though there was nothing left to play for, Branthwaite did an outstanding job. His performance against Aston Villa was the highlight of his season and you can expect Ancelotti to use him more next term.

Yerry Mina: Sell

That is a big SELL. Yerry Mina project has miserably failed and Everton must look to get rid of the Colombian as soon as possible. With Valencia and Boca Juniors are said to be interested in Mina, Brands must strike a deal as soon as possible. The Toffees are never going to recoup the £27 million they paid for him to Barcelona. A fee of around £15 million is the maximum they can get and Everton should take it before Yerry Mina becomes a liability.

Lucas Digne: Keep

He is arguably one of the best players in the last couple of seasons and there is no reason to sell him. Lucas Digne is happy with the game time and isn’t flattered by the interest of Chelsea and Manchester City. He is a key cog for Ancelotti too and the Italian will want to have the ex-Barca man at his disposal.

Seamus Coleman: Keep

Seamus Coleman is the captain and one of the most experienced guys in the squad. He is an icon to the Everton fans and will continue to remain at Goodison Park for the foreseeable future. There’s a high chance that he will follow Leighton Baines’ footsteps and eventually retire at Goodison.

Jonjoe Kenny: Sell or use him as a part of a deal

Jonjoe Kenny spent last season on loan at Schalke and gained valuable first team action and knowledge. It doesn’t seem like he features in Ancelotti’s plans and in fact can be used as a makeweight in deal. Schalke are interested in signing him permanently and the Toffees are eyeing Weston McKennie, so a player plus cash deal can be on the cards.
