Arturo Vidal is open to leaving Barcelona if he doesn’t have a prominent role.

2. Arturo Vidal

The Chilean warrior was looking for pastures new way before the 8-2 humiliation. His motto was clear, if he isn’t getting a proper role in the squad, he would like to leave Nou Camp. With the whole dynamic now focusing on bringing new blood to the club, Barcelona is likely to axe Arturo Vidal.

The 33 year old has proven to be an excellent signing for Blaugrana, injecting passion and energy in a rather dead midfield. Everton can make use of his fighter attitude. The South American blood running in his veins makes him a physical beast with a monster mentality.

light. Hot. Personal terms agreed with Everton but Championship club rejects bid for Frenchman

Premier League is said to be a war zone and a player like Arturo Vidal can thrive in such environment. I agree that the Toffees are pursuing a deal for Allan and Abdoulaye Doucoure and in Allan’s case, Everton is extremely close to signing him but having someone like Vidal really helps the squad quality and morale sky rocket.

Players like Gylfi Sigurdsson, Fabian Delph and maybe even Tom Davies need to be slowly pushed out of the team and a new core needs to be formed. Arturo Vidal can be one of those pillars. A ball winner, a box-to-box midfielder and a physical animal, the Chilean can become anything you want him to be.

The 33 year old is available for a cheap price under £15 million. Despite his age, he has not let his intensity drop which will be a major factor should Everton consider signing him.
