The trio of James Rodriguez, DCL and Richarlison is catching the eye.

James Rodriguez
Appearances – 4
Starts – 4
Minutes played – 344
Goals/Assists – 1/2
Rating – 9.5
The Hollywood signing of the summer, James Rodriguez has refreshed Everton in attack, oozing class from the right flank. He has been the biggest creative engine of the team, creating a total of 12 chances in the league. The month of September saw him score his debut goal for Everton against West Brom and also register two assists.
The Colombian has undoubtedly become the talisman of the team in no time and Everton’s hopes of a fruitful season hinge on the shoulders of James Rodriguez.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Appearances – 5
Starts – 5
Minutes played – 385
Goals/Assists – 8/0
Rating – 9.5
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is on another planet right now. He is the best striker in the world right now. Period. Whatever he is touching, is going in goal. 8 goals in 5 games is an insane record and it feels that the 23 year old is getting more clinical with each passing game. Calvert-Lewin has massively improved on his positions and most of his goals have been a result of him being at the right place at the right time.
Richarlison
Appearances – 5
Starts – 5
Minutes played – 407
Goals/Assists – 4/2
Rating – 9
Richarlison’s high intensity, productive performances have continued into the new season as well. In a dull campaign last term, the Brazilian was the silver lining and arguably the best player. He has picked up where he left off last term, in fact, looks more sharp and hungry.
He could have easily equaled DCL’s goal scoring tally if it wasn’t for his slightly lackluster finishing skills. Yet, Richarlison has been a treat to watch, always looking lethal with the ball.
Alex Iwobi
Appearances – 4
Starts – 1
Minutes played – 142
Goals/Assists – 1/1
Rating – 7
When Alex Iwobi was not included in the squad for the first game of the season, it was thought that Ancelotti had lost confidence in the Nigerian and he was open to selling him after just one season. However, it was later revealed that Iwobi wasn’t 100 per cent fit and hence the exclusion.
Iwobi has done well in the amount of game time he has been given with the 5-2 win over Fleetwood being his best performance. He still looks miles off the performances of the preferred front three.
Bernard
Appearances – 2
Starts – 2
Minutes played – 180
Goals/Assists – 1/1
Rating – 7.5
Bernard was another loss making player in terms of game time due to the arrival of James Rodriguez. The Brazlian has remained an unused substitute in the Premier League while he started two Carabao Cup games, against Salford and Fleetwood, two relatively easier opponents.
His display against Fleetwood was inspiring and proved the hypothesis that Beranard is more effective in a more central offensive role rather than a wide role, proving Marco Silva and his plan wrong.
Anthony Gordon
Appearances – 2
Starts – 1
Minutes played – 135
Goals/Assists – 0/3
Rating – 7.5
Anthony Gordon has had very little time to showcase his potential this season. He didn’t feature in a single Premier League game in September but was on the money in the EFL Cup games, registering 3 assists.
The competition in the squad has forced Ancelotti to exclude last season’s breakout star from most of the action but that could soon change given Theo Walcott and Moise Kean have left on loan.
NOTE: Walcott and Kean haven’t been evaluated as they have left on loan despite playing for Everton at some point of time in September.
