PSG are plotting a summer move for Everton striker Moise Kean.
Everton allowed Moise Kean to join PSG on loan after the striker was unhappy with the lack of game time at Goodison Park. Even though the Toffees believe that Kean has a long term future at Everton, there have been reports flying that the Italian may leave the English side in summer 2021.
Currently, on loan at PSG, Kean has rekindled his lost touch and is on a scoring spree. 5 Ligue 1 goals in 7 games and a couple of Champions League goals act as a testimony for Kean’s turn in fortunes. PSG Sporting director Leonardo is in awe of the Italian and wants to convince Everton for a transfer next season. The current loan deal doesn’t involve an option-to-buy clause but the PSG hierarchy wants to test Everton’s resolve by offering a lucrative deal next summer.
However, there’s an interest from Juventus too. A summer transfer attempt from the Bianconeri is not ruled out either. Carlo Ancelotti believes in Kean’s talents and presses that Kean’s future lies at Everton.
This leaves PSG in a tricky situation. They bid adieu to Edinson Cavani and Eric Choupo-Moting in the summer and brought Kean on loan. Kean is the only traditional No.9 backup to Mauro Icardi. If the French giants fail to secure the 20 year old permanently, PSG already have a plan in place.

According to French publication Le10 Sport, if PSG fails to sign Kean, they will look to recall Arnaud Kalimuendo back from RC Lens. The 18 year old joined Lens on a season long loan deal and has blossomed at Stade Bollaert-Delelis. Kalimuendo has 3 goals in 7 games (4 starts) and is showing tremendous potential. Lens does have an option to buy but a return to Parc des Princes is not ruled out by the striker.
"Come back to Paris? It’s a goal, but so far I feel very good in Lens. I’m focusing on my season and on what we can do with Lens, then we’ll see what happens at the end of the season. For the moment I am in Lens."
As for Kean, the Italian is extremely happy in the French capital and has hinted that he wouldn’t mind staying. This is not an encouraging piece of news for the Toffees who are betting on long term success on Kean. PSG are well prepared for any scenario whether Kean stays or leaves.
