"“He had a problem on his calf… He will be out for at least three or four weeks.”"

When it comes to Everton, you can’t have some good news without the bad. Ancelotti announced that Yerry Mina will miss at least three walks with a calf injury after his early injury in the Manchester City game.

This is a big loss for the Toffees, who have seen a significant improvement in the Colombian defender, who over time became Everton’s most competent centre-back.

It isn’t all bad news though, if Everton had to get an injury, then centre-back is probably the place they would choose, with the Toffees having a solid amount of cover to replace Mina.

Behind Keane and Mina, Everton have Mason Holgate and Ben Godfrey, who’re both natural centre-backs, making room for Seamus Coleman to take back the right-back mantle which had been taken from him by Holgate.

It isn’t a good situation, but Everton can handle this situation. Hopefully, Mina can make a speedy recovery which allows Ancelotti to give players like Holgate and Godfrey some games in their natural position.
