What can Silas Wamangituka offer to Everton?

It is true that Everton have not just been linked and there has been no progress since then but he is the kind of profile the Toffees will be hunting in the next transfer window. Alongside a right back, Everton would venture into the market for a right wide player.

Carlo Ancelotti has fielded his team in a 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1 and even a back three wing wingbacks. James Rodriguez and Alex Iwobi are capable of filling in the wide right role but the Colombian is much more effective and lethal when he drifts in the centre.

Wamangituka can be a valuable option either as a starter or on the bench. At least on paper, he fits in every formation that Ancelotti has so far used at Goodison Park. The Congolese has the physical structure and power to make a strong case for himself in the Premier League. He’s quick, brave and possesses genuine quality.

Congo, known for its diamond reserves, have produced another diamond in Wamangituka. With the right polishing, he could become a solid footballer.
