Everton predicted lineup vs Brighton: Allan returns, James Rodriguez starts
Michael Keane will be at the heart of the back three
Defence:
Centre back: Michael Keane
Everton went with three centre backs last game and could stick with the same formation. Michael Keane had a comfortable game last week and will be hoping to continue his strong and resilient run against the Seagulls. Keane will be vital in containing the likes of Neal Maupay and Danny Welback.
Centre back: Yerry Mina
Yerry Mina also had a solid game against Crystal Palace and did a good job in negating the aerial strengths of Christian Benteke. Brighton relies on long balls forward, supplying 1807 long balls so far, sixth highest tally of the season and the Colombian will once again be important in aerial duels and aggressive defending.
Centre back: Ben Godfrey
Even though Mason Holgate started the last game and had a decent outing, having Ben Godfrey over Holgate against Brighton could be a smart decision. Godfrey is in excellent form and his pace on the ball and aggression to throw himself in challenges.
