Goncalo Guedes has already been linked to Everton

Goncalo Guedes (Valencia)

Goncalo Guedes is already being mentioned as one of the transfer targets for the Toffees as Valencia look to sell some of their players to lighten the losses due to the pandemic. Los Che have suffered massively and have bleeding finances and to stabilize the economic situation, Guedes and many other players could be heading for an exit.

Everton have reportedly joined the race to sign the Portuguese as Wolves are also keen on the forward. Guedes can play on either flank, as a secondary striker as well as a lone striker. Guedes has made 14 goal contributions this season, scoring seven goals and providing seven assists in 34 games.

The 24-year-old had a bland start to the season but came alive and was one of the top performers for Valencia in the second half of the campaign. As per a report, Guedes could be available for around €15 million which can be considered a bargain price considering the market value of other wingers that have been linked to the Toffees.

Guedes averages 3.17 shot-creating actions per game. The Portuguese tend to dribble and drive forward which explains 8.23 carries per game. Guedes also registers 3.19 dribbles per game 23 touches per game in the final third.

He may not boast the best goal numbers but at 24 he still has time on his side to polish and mould himself. Everton can closely monitor Guedes’ situation as well.
