£25 million Everton target hoping to make the most at Euros to land an attractive offer
After being postponed in 2020, Euros are set to be held in June this year. Several Everton players have made the cut in their respective national teams. The Toffees will also keep an eye on the transfer targets in the quadrennial International competition. Transfer target Merih Demiral is also hoping to have a successful tournament with Turkey.
Demiral has been regularly linked with the Toffees. The Turk may take an important decision about his future this summer as he mulls over his role at Juventus. The Bianconeri believe that the sale of Demiral could result in a huge financial gain.
Everton have been linked to a number of central defenders. Apart from Demiral, defenders like Kalidou Koulibaly have been associated with a move. Now, it appears Demiral is also assessing his future and wants to have a strong Euros tournament.

However, the Turkish player will play the waiting game. He wants to perform strongly with Turkey at Euros in order to attract the best offers in a technical sense as well as financial sense. As the report mentioned that the Royal Blues seem to be very serious about Demiral and if that is true, Everton will make an enquiry sooner or later.
Carlo Ancelotti added Ben Godfrey to the central defence last summer, stabilizing the defence. However, the Toffees are well stacked in the central defence and does not need to sign another centre back as of now.
