Fiorentina consider £31. 5m Everton man as replacement to Atletico bound Dusan Vlahovic
As the Everton team shapes up under Rafa Benitez, several players are staring at an uncertain future. James Rodriguez is probably the most popular player who doesn’t know where he’s going to play this season. Apart from him, exuberant youngster Moise Kean also faces a similar predicament.
The Italian striker sparkled in PSG jersey last season, scoring 17 goals in 41 Ligue 1 games. Kean wanted to move to PSG permanently and the Parisien club was looking to acquire the 21 year old. However, Lionel Messi’s arrival at PSG has closed doors to Kean’s transfer.
Inter Milan are looking for replacements for Romelu Lukaku who joined Chelsea for €115 million. Kean emerged as a possible target but now reports state that the Nerazzurri are not too serious about the former Juventus man.
Everton are not open to another loan deal for the 21 year old and will only entertain a permanent offer. Thanks to his brilliant performances last season, his market valuation has inflated which gives hope to the Toffees that they can sell the striker in excess of €35 million. A new potential suitor has emerged for Kean.
Fiorentina look at Everton striker Moise Kean as Dusan Vlahovic replacement
Fiorentina were reluctant to sell their prized asset Dusan Vlahovic. The stance seems to have changed after a massive offer from Atletico Madrid. The La Liga champions have already made a sensational signing in Rodrigo de Paul for €35 million. Now they are ready to further bolster their side as they prepare to defend their La Liga title by signing Vlahovic.

While Barcelona falter on the economic front and Real Madrid would only open their cheque book for Kylian Mbappe, Atletico Madrid are unleashing a ruthless side. As reports suggest, Fiorentina are close to accepting Atletico Madrid’s €70 million proposal. In the event of Vlahovic’s departure, La Viola are assessing three names as replacements.
According to Calciomercato, Everton striker Moise Kean is one of the names being considered in the Fiorentina offices. Kean will be an ideal candidate to replace Vlahovic. Along with Kean, Torino captain Andrea Belotti and Gianluca Scamacca are also options.
Kean wants to leave Merseyside and a return to Italy will be a welcome offer. PSG is no more in sights and Inter Milan looking elsewhere, the emergence of Fiorentina could be the best option for the 21 year old. Even for Everton, the sale of Kean could command a substantial fee, helping the Toffees in their adventures in the transfer market.
The Royal Blues want to strengthen the side but have their hands tied due to the Financial Fair Play regulations and probably need to sell first before signing new players. Kean’s sale will allow the club to target a right back and even make a move for another backup striker to Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Will the Toffees sell Moise Kean before the end of this transfer window?
