Attack:

Striker: Salomon Rondon

Salomon Rondon has had to fast track his transition into the Premier League because of unfortunate injuries to Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin. The Venezuelan was extremely match unfit which was visible in games as he struggled to make sprints or even jog at times towards the end of games.

Benitez has insisted that he’s training well and is returning to the required fitness levels. Rondon is yet to score or make an assist but he has come close on several occasions.

Secondary striker: Demarai Gray

Demarai Gray’s breathtaking pace and directness makes him a serious threat to the opposition. The former Leicester City winger will have some freedom between the midfield and the attack and support striker Rondon.
