Everton host Thomas Frank’s Brentford on Sunday evening. The Toffees will know exactly what they need to do against the Bees if they are to ensure their Premier League status this weekend itself as the outcome will depend on Leeds United’s game against Brighton.

In the event of a Leeds loss, all Everton will need is a draw against Brentford and they will hav their Premier League status secured with two games to spare. If Jesse Marsch’s side shares spoils with Brighton, a win against Brentford will do the job for Frank Lampard’s men. If Leeds manages to win the game, Everton will have to pick up four points from three games to play in the Premier League next term.

The Toffees did have some injury concerns as they will be without Fabian Delph who pickup up a muscle injury against Watford. Ben Godfrey is close to a return but not quite ready to feature in the lineup. Donny van de Beek also sails on the same boat as Godfrey.

On the other hand, Brentford will be without Ethan Pinnock and Saman Ghoddos. Sergi Canos is available and there’s a chance for Frank Onyeka to play after he trained with the team ahead of the clash.
