Everton striker Moise Kean is going through another rough patch in his career. The Italian arrived with a lot of promise of being a top striker in making but failed to settle in Merseyside. His stock rose again after a fruitful spell in PSG which eventually earned him a move to Juventus.

After his first season with Everton which saw him score just two goals in 33 games, Kean moved to PSG on loan in 2020 with an aim to bring his career back on track. Brought in as a deputy to Mauro Icardi, Kean managed to get more minutes than the Argentine as the former Inter Milan man spent significant time out due to injury.

This was Kean’s chance to shine as he netted 17 goals in 41 outings for PSG. Even though PSG wanted to make the move permanent, they could not match Everton’s valuation. Kean’s former employer Juventus swooped in and secured the Italian’s services on a two year loan deal with an obligation to buy for €28 million.

As things stand, Kean’s return to Turin hasn’t gone as per plan. The 22 year old has struggled in front of the goal and has just six goals to his name. With the arrival of Dusan Vlahovic, Kean has further dropped down the pecking order and competes with Alvaro Morata.

PSG want Everton striker Moise Kean

Reports have previously surfaced that Juventus are sceptical of paying a €28 million fee to Everton and are working out a different solution. Talks of separation between Kean and the Bianconeri are gaining momentum as the Turin based club eye Giacomo Raspadori. However, for a sale of Kean, Juventus will have to sit on the negotiation table with Everton and renegotiate the structure of the deal.

According to French media outlet Le10 Sport, PSG’s attack will change regardless of Kylian Mbappe’s decision. Angel di Maria is approaching the end of his contract and Icardi is leaning towards an exit. In such a situation, PSG sporting director Leonardo thinks of Kean as one of the possible attacking replacements.

However, for such a deal to occur, Kean’s situation needs to be sorted out between Juve and Everton. In the event of cancellation of the loan, the French giants will negotiate directly with the Toffees for the striker. As far as Kean’s entourage is concerned, they will look at PSG, the club where he found his footing again after an underwhelming campaign in England.

Kean’s future remains very uncertain. The possibility of him returning to Everton remains dim but whether he stays at Juventus or eyes a reunion with Paris remains to be seen.
