Allan could start in place of Andre Gomes

Midfield:

Left wing: Richarlison

With Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the side, Richarlison will shift to the wings. The Brazilian has been one of the core members of the side and his industrious performances have impressed many. Richarlison has been a subject of transfer interest from big clubs but his focus should be on helping Everton achieve safety.

Central midfield: Allan

Allan has to start over Andre Gomes. The Portuguese struggled against the midfield pressure of Brentford, especially after the Toffees were reduced to 10 men. Allan gives some sort of defensive guarantees and can sit ahead of the rearguard. Delph’s absence can hurt Everton but Allan should be the man to do the job.

Central midfield: Abdoulaye Doucoure

With Allan taking care of mopping up, Abdoulaye Doucoure will be assigned the duty to join the attack when possible. His tenacity and unhindered running can be of huge importance against an intense side like Palace. The Mali international has seen his form dip in terms of goal involvement but his continuous presence and his desire to touch every blade of grass on the pitch makes him quintessential to this side.

Right wing: Anthony Gordon

Anthony Gordon has been a top performer for Everton, worthy of winning the player of the season at the club. While he has been dangerous in attack, he does need to fine tune the final bit of finishing in his play.
