Levi Colwill is already an Everton target

3. Levi Colwill

Another promising youngster who was impressive during his loan spell at Huddersfield. The 19 year old played 29 Championship games. Huddersfield plays the Championship playoff final at Wembley and the winner would secure promotion to the Premier League. Colwill could be in line to start and play a crucial role in Huddersfield’s promotion.

The Toffees were linked to Colwill back in April. Southampton, Leicester City and Fulham were also following the 19 year old. The Chelsea chiefs are happy with Colwill’s development and Tuchel is set to assess Colwill in the pre-season after which a decision will be made. The departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen could open doors of first team opportunities for Colwill.

Everton want to overhaul their defence as Yerry Mina is not trustworthy in terms of fitness meanwhile, Michael Keane struggles to find consistency. The Toffees are aiming to bring young players wanting to prove themselves and are capable of handling pressure situations.

If Chelsea decides that Colwill may not be ready or cannot find a place in the squad, Everton can snap him up on a loan deal or even push to sign him permanently. There is an extremely talented player out there who with the right counsel can become a top player in the future.
