Similar to last couple of summer transfer windows, Moise Kean finds himself in an unknown territory this summer. It has now become a common theme of the summer transfer window where reports keep flying back and forth stating the uncertainty over Kean’s future. The Everton striker is once again the subject of a whirlwind of transfer rumours.

Since the 2019-20 season, Kean has gone on to play for three different teams in three seasons. There are high chances that he’ll stumble upon another transfer and end up at a fourth club in four years. This is not how Everton would have imagined his future panning out. On the contrary, Kean was viewed as part of the long term project.

After failing to get adequate game time in his first season under three different managers – Marco Silva, Duncan Ferguson and Carlo Ancelotti, the striker crossed the English Channel and headed to PSG on a loan spell. The change of country and league worked wonders for the youngster who managed to get his confidence and career back on track by scoring 17 goals in 41 games.

Kean had admirers in Paris who wanted to bring him permanently. Juventus were alert and observed the situation from outside. When the time was right, they swooped in and took Kean on a two year loan spell with an obligation to buy for €28 million. The Toffees were content with releasing Kean because they had Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin ready with their engines revving.

Unfortunately, Juve did not get that version of Kean who was scoring goals after goals in Ligue 1. Five goals in Serie A doesn’t convince the club management that was looking to claw their way back up to the top step of the league. Juventus will have bigger ambitions next season and Kean is not in the capacity to help them fulfil those.

The Bianconeri are ready to offload their academy product once again but the complex deal structure makes it even harder for Juve to find a buyer. Everton have been fortunate to not be caught up in this mess and all they would want is to get the €28 million payment which will help Frank Lampard in carrying out the summer transfer business.

Juventus want to offload him this summer and there is interest from PSG and few Premier League sides. In case of PSG’s interest, Juventus may propose a swap deal with PSG. According to journalist Gianluca di Marzio, promoted Premier League sides Fulham and Nottingham Forest are interested in Kean’s services.

The 22 year old is not entirely convinced with the idea of returning to England and wants to wait for the other offers to arrive after which he can evaluate the most plausible option. It has been stated previously that the Italy international likes the idea of donning the PSG jersey again but a lot needs to be figured out between Everton and Juventus before any deal can take place.
