Carabao Cup fourth round fixtures are scheduled to take place on 27, 28 and 29 October. By process of elimination, we can confirm that this match will almost certainly take place on Thursday 29th. Liverpool are also at home in this round, hosting Chelsea, and that match has to be scheduled for the Wednesday due to the Premier League fixtures either side.
Thus, Everton's clash with Newcastle, which thereby cannot go on Wednesday or Tuesday, will be moved to the Thursday. This will be four nights before the the pair go head to head at St James' Park in the Premier League on the Monday.
