Everton have officially unveiled their new home kit ahead of the much-anticipated move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium, ushering in a bold new chapter for the club. The design has already captured the attention of fans, with its sleek, modern aesthetic paying tribute to the club’s heritage while embracing the excitement of a fresh era.

As the Toffees prepare to kick off their inaugural season at their stunning new waterfront home, the kit launch marks a symbolic first step, one that blends tradition (royal blue), pride (similar to 86-87 shirt with v-neck), and forward momentum (wave design).

One of the most noticeable and welcome changes from a fan’s perspective is the return of the royal blue socks, a classic Everton touch that many supporters have been longing for after recent seasons of white alternatives.

While discussing the aesthetics is exciting, it’s impossible to ignore the financial side of modern football kits.

Shirt prices have continued to rise steeply over the years, and this season is no exception. The new replica home shirt comes in at a hefty £115 for the fully sponsored version, while the unsponsored option, often preferred by fans for a cleaner look and disassociation from a gambling company, starts from £80.

The goalkeeper kit retains its traditional green base but introduces a fresh twist with a sleek vertical pattern that adds a modern, stylish edge. Visually striking yet classic, the design is both functional and aesthetically pleasing, sure to stand out on the pitch without overshadowing the home strip

The club built anticipation with a teaser released the day before, featuring a dramatic video and a scheduled release time. The teaser showed the shirt submerged underwater, hinting at a water-inspired design element.

This subtle yet powerful imagery appears to pay tribute to the club’s historic move to Bramley-Moore Dock, symbolising a deep connection between the new waterfront home and the identity woven into the fabric of the kit.

The design matches the leaked kit that surfaced earlier in June, when images of the home strip were shared online well before today’s official unveiling. Whatever the clothing, we know the support is behind them, and the excitement is building for the new home and lofty ambitions.
