Napoli midfielder Allan may reunite with Ancelotti at Everton

Napoli’s Allan has constantly been linked with Everton, according to a number of sources. In fact, a number of players who have played for Ancelotti have been linked. It seems the 29-year-old is linked with Everton on an almost daily basis.

For 2019-20 show the 29-year-old Allan to be tenacious in the defensive and middle thirds of the pitch. with the majority of his 34 tackles taking place in these two areas for the season 2019-20. (stats via FBRef)

Adrian Rabiot was another name linked with Everton. However, the Liverpool Echo reports concerns Rabiot’s playing style may not be suitable for the Premier League along with other concerns that make this move unlikely. Apart from that Juventus director Fabio Paratici ruled out a move for the Frenchman, stating that Rabiot is taking his time to settle in Turin and won’t be sold after the first season.

Forget about Rabiot, Allan could be the real deal for the Toffees. There were reports that stated that Marcel Brands had also launched a bid for the Brazilian but the bid had fallen short of the Napoli valuation. With Transfer window opening in less than a fortnight, the talked between Napoli and Everton may intensify.
