Everton target Hirving Lozano transfer imminent as Napoli make progress in pursuit of former Chelsea man Jeremie Boga.
Napoli continues to add flair to the attack as they have acquired the services of Victor Osimhen from LOSC Lille. Now, Gennaro Gattuso’s side is hoping to secure the signature of Sassuolo winger Jeremie Boga. In fact, reports have emerged that Gli Azzuri have made significant progress in former Chelsea man’s pursuit. Another attacker would certainly guarantee the departure of Everton target Hirving Lozano.
A few days ago, we told that Everton will have a clear path to sign Hirving Lozano from Napoli as Victor Osimhen to Naples is a done deal. The Lille forward has agreed to personal terms, undergone a medical and reportedly also chosen the shirt number he’ll wear at Stadio San Paolo.
With that deal done and dusted, the chiefs at Napoli have turned their attention to Jeremie Boga of Sassuolo. The 23 year old was an Everton target too but the Toffees never disclosed any concrete interest.
Napoli’s spending spree in the attack only means one thing, exit of unwanted players. Hirving Lozano is someone Gennaro Gattuso wants to get rid of and now his transfer seems to be more imminent than ever.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Napoli has made substantial progress on Jeremie Boga front with a bid of €25 million launched already. However, the Neroverdi are holding out that Napoli will have to splash €40 million to take away Boga from Mapei stadium.
The former Chelsea winger has lit up the Serie A this term, scoring 11 goals and creating another 4 in 34 Calcio games. The Partenopei have been attracted by the Ivorian’s sturdy displays and are keen to add him to the ranks.
Boga’s transfer to Naples will make life even harder for Lozano, if it wasn’t tough already, clocking just 272 minutes in the league out of a possible 810 minutes. It is safe to predict that Gattuso isn’t a big fan of the Mexican, especially after kicking him out of training in early June.
The 24 year old too is in no mood to stay in Italy, conveying to his agent Mino Raiola that he wants out of Napoli. Everton should take this opportunity and sign Hirving Lozano this summer.
The speedy winger has enjoyed working with Carlo Ancelotti from the Italian’s time at Stadio San Paolo. Ancelotti too, has praised the former PSV man from time to time and wouldn’t object to his transfer.
The anguish of Hirving Lozano at Napoli is evident and it’ll only get worse if Jeremie Boga moves to Gli Azzuri. Everton can offer the Mexican a way out and offer Lozano to rejuvenate his career.
