Moise Kean has been juggling between clubs. Since 2019, he has gone on to represent Everton, Juventus and PSG. Because of his underwhelming performances and lack of game time at Goodison, the Italian went out on loan to PSG in 2020-21 season.

Kean’s career picked up pace in Paris as he outscored Mauro Icardi. The PSG hierarchy wanted to keep Kean but there was no agreement with Everton. On the other hand, Everton remained open to cashing in on the youngster whose stock had increased thanks to the fruitful spell in Ligue 1. Juventus signed Kean on a two year loan deal with an obligation to buy for €28 million. In total, the whole operation could cost up to €38 million.

Back in Turin, Kean’s performances have not been special. His average displays have cast doubts in the minds of Juventus management. The arrival of Dusan Vlahovic means that Kean isn’t regarded as the long term option for the Juve strike force.

The Old Lady are already looking at Giacomo Raspadori as a potential replacement. They want to offload Kean as the project hasn’t worked out. Now whether the loan deal is rescinded or Juve signs Kean permanently and then sells him is something that still needs to be worked out.

Everton striker Moise Kean is loved in Paris

Kean’s goalscoring record has been substandard, managing six goals in 35 appearances. At Juventus, he is behind Vlahovic, Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata on the top goalscorer’s sheet and tied with Leonardo Bonucci at five goals in Serie A. His poor record doesn’t give him a lot of confidence.

With that, the complex deal structure with Everton also makes it difficult for Juventus to sell Kean. Firstly, he’s on a two year loan after which the Italians will have to buy him permanently. Despite all the complexities, one team remains a big admirer of Kean’s talents.

PSG would be open to having Kean back in Paris. In fact, the player’s camp also likes the idea of returning to Paris. Juventus are open to letting Kean go and if the player will join PSG, the Bianocneri will push for a swap deal.

According to Le10 Sport, Juve will propose an exchange of Kean and Leonard Parades, with Kean going to France and Parades arriving in Turin. Interestingly, Parades has been placed on the transfer list by the Parisiens. But for any such deal to take place, negotiations between the Toffees and Juventus need to take place

While dangers over Everton’s safety still loom large, behind the scenes, the planning for next season would have already begun but as things suggest, it is highly unlikely that Kean will be at Everton next season.
