Tyler Dibling held out of Southampton training, fueling rumors of impending move

The oft-rumored Everton target has been seen training on his own away from the rest of the squad, often an indicator that a transfer move is on the horizon.

Yes, it's another article about Tyler Dibling, who has become a rather prime focus of Everton's ever since the club returned from their trip in the US, having already sent Southampton three bids for the player.

And now reports are coming out that Dibling has been seen training away from the rest of his teammates, adding further fuel to the fact that the teenager might be moving on from Southampton. On top of that, The Bobble has come out and said that Dibling has lodged his desire to leave the Saints, although he has not officially submitted a transfer request.

We've talked plenty about Dibling over the last several days and his potential fit on David Moyes' Everton side, but there's no question that the Toffees need a dedicated right winger, as they've been trying the likes of Dwight McNeil and Charly Alcaraz in the role to varied success levels.

And even though Dibling is primarily left-footed, he uses both feet effectively enough, and the things he's able to do with his left foot, including some impressive scoop crosses, are really good to see. And while many have bemoaned the lack of numerical production at Southampton in his lone Premier League season to date, the quality of that team, particularly up front, has to be factored in.

Some of this will come down to value and whether you consider Dibling a player who can help change the Everton side immediately. There will be lots of questions about that, and the cost that it takes to bring Dibling in, as the situation continues.

But, as I've said several times before, it is good to see that Everton appear focused on bringing in young talent that they can add next to slightly older guys like Dewsbury-Hall and others.

I continue to be concerned at how long this is taking, especially considering how quickly the Dewsbury-Hall transfer came together, and Everton should not push for Dibling at whatever cost, but it's excellent that the club sees where its shortcomings are.
